flexible freezer containers | |||||||||||||||||
I would like someone to make me: a large-ish icecube tray with movable/removable dividers, so that I could decide how big portions I want to freeze: 16 half-cups, 8 cups, or 4 pints of broth, or even better 8 half-cups, 2 cups AND a pint. It's so hard to cut a portion off a big frozen block, but freezing multiple servings in muffin-tins is messy, time-consuming, and ensures the muffin-tins are in the freezer when you want them for muffins.

I use plastic bags sealable with wire twists for freezing variable quantities. They fit into any space and running a few squirts of hot water over the frozen bags permits the bag to be easily peeled away from the contents for heating.
