Shaped Firelogs | |||||||||||||||||
Firelogs are made up of recycled sawdust and petroleum wax extruded into log like shapes. According to one web site there is an annual US national demand for approx. 90 million firelogs. How about creating molded shapes from this same mixture for novelty logs. The first novelty log that comes to mind is one shaped like a skull which would be available for sale during the Halloween season. Who wouldn't want a cool flaming skull in their fireplace or atop their bonfire on Halloween night. Or how about a heart-shaped "Hunk-A-Hunk-A-Burnin' Love" log for Valentines. I'm sure others here can come up with some appropriate holiday/novelty logs.

If you read closely you'll see it's not the same "Halfbaked" idea. These would be shaped logs that really burn, not fake logs for gas fires. These could be mass produced for the market that buys 90 million firelogs annually, and sold at a premium because of their novelty.
hey [RayfordSteele], what are you doing here?
Think of the possibilities! Heads of state, comedians, actors, vehicles, pets, anything that can be laser-scanned into a computer could theoretically be squeezed out of a CNC-machined mold! Hot gift for next xmas...
