Flexible Ironing Boards | |||||||||||||||||
Why are ironing boards the same shape they've been for decades? As someone who only irons shirts, the current design leaves much to be desired: shoulders are tricky, and arms a nightmare. Ironing boards should come with attachable components for for shirts (or other items of clothing). For example, a two inch wide add-on designed for sleeves. It might also be useful if boards had some depth to them, such as a spherical end for shoulders.

I've seen small boards designed for sleeves, etc. I'm not sure where they are available, try Google.
Good idea. But I favor a change in style to make ironing obsolete. How about the Startreck style? Goes well with the communicator on your belt. Saves energy. Imagine Ralph Nader in a jumpsuit.
