adipose VS metabolic rate | |||||||||||||||||
While it is long believed that fat people with more adipose can tolerate cold weather better than thin people do, I observed the opposite in some people.I suggest that fat adipose may be a sign of their lower metabolic rate thus generate less heat and cannot tolerate cold whereas thin people have higher metabolic rate.

This is another contribution that would have a better fit under a specialized category for theory and conjecture. Anyway, for those of us that do not know the term “adipose” (I did not) – here is a nice link:
