Perhaps this already exists in other parts of the world, but us Yanks haven't figured it out yet.
The concept is to make a more intelligent shower system. Provide a touchscreen panel next to the shower that provides various settings for different users. The settings would control water pressure, temperature, timers, music settings, light settings, etc. The shower could be programmed to automatically turn on at X time or turn off in X minutes, ensuring that you're never late for work while you're listening to yourself belt out a tune.
Included would be the standard music cadre, including a radio or MP3 player (all controlled by an in-shower touchscreen.) The inshower touchscreen may have a built-in tv tuner for catching up on CNN while you work the Selson Blue.
Your shower experience would all happen with the touch of a button, no messing with hot and cold, its always perfectly set at your desired temperature (I like mine about 100 degrees.)

I saw this invention in the movie "Ice Pirates". There is a love scene in a bathing chamber that provides music, nature sounds, aromas and even a sunrise projected on a screen. These would make a nice addition to the No-Tell-Motel rented out by the hour.

I have always had a similar idea. I believe that your bathroom should be a sanctuary, and your showering experience should be exciting and soothing. My idea would turn showering into a virtual experience. Imagine how awesome it would be to take a shower in a rainforest, with all the sights and sounds around you, as well as the natural aroma of exotic flowers. Or, you could take your shower experience under water; imagine being able to experience colorful ocean life all around you. This shower would be awesome, I've always imagined it to be a 360 circle with that frosted white glass look, then the images would be projected around the glass to create a virtual experience. We can only look forward to the future, and try to make it reality.
