Do telemarketers get to you?

Since adopting the following strategy a number of months ago the number of these types of calls has almost been eliminated.

Simply put.....Instruct all members of your family that when a TM calls you tell them to hang on....put the phone on the kitchen counter, coffee table or wherevener everyone is gathered and continue your goings about. The caller will get fed up and hang up.

I don't know if they track this sort of response but it sure works. Just think if everyone person did this (excluding the TM's and those whose jobs depend on it) then we could potentially wipe out an entire 'PTA' industry.

So for the minor inconvenience you get, you want to put thousands of people out of work? And waste their time in the meantime?

Why not just add your number to the do not call list like I did myself--I would get anywhere from 50 to 75 calls per week before now about 1 to 2
