Prescription Mirror | |||||||||||||||||
If the fogless prescription goggles idea doesn't work, then what about prescription mirrors? Bring your fogless mirror to an optometrist and have it set to your vision so you can see yourself in the morning without needing your glasses or contacts.

I presume that the prescription wouldn't need to be exact. In particular, you would have to get the same Rx for both eyes. Thus, we could make this cheaper simply by selling mirrors in standards Rx (-3, -2, -1, +1, +2, +3, ..). Not sure if this is more important for near or far-sighted people.
This seems to be based on the idea that a flat piece of glass with a reflected coating on the back can correct for eye defects. I don't see how.
