Pretty much all hotels have free shampoo and cotton balls, butthey fail to account that over 10% of their customers wearcontact lenses, and may need a case and saline solution whenthey touch down.

This is as true in a one night stand as it is in a business tripwhere you forgot your case, or you luggage has been lostand you've got your contacts in.

Hotels should, if not automatically, on demand, supply contactlens kit to their patrons. I've wanted this my whole life andNEVER seen it. Amazing they are that stupid or deaf to potential customer needs.

hey, hey, calm down there sweetheart;) "stupid or deaf to potential customers needs" is maybe a bit harsh.

You say over 10% of people wear contact lenses, and therefore that is a very small percentage of guests vs. those that use shampoo.

Also, don't most contact wearers use multi-day, week or month long contacts. That means that the potential market of 10% of the guests is reduced to even less.

I don't even wear contacts and there was one in my last hotel room. Don't wait for others to provide your essential needs for your whole life. Ask your hotel when you book if it's that important. Or bring your own.

I think it is a great idea. I don't use the shoe shine rag or shower cap, but most hotels usually have them available in the bathroom. I think more people would use saline solution than a shower cap. If a hotel wants to differentiate themselves from a competitor, they would try to cater to the customer.
