Anti-Airplaine Hijacking | |||||||||||||||||
I couldn't find a good category for this, so here's where it goes. A simple fix to Airplane Hijacking problems: Have two doors onto the airplane. The passenger door, just like the current door, will be on the left side of the airplane. But, The entrance to the Cockpit would be from the right side of the plane. None of the passengers can hijack the plane, because they can't reach the cockpit while at 20,000 feet and flying at 400+ mph.

I think this is a good idea but one down side I could see would be if the pilots became unconscious through decompression in the cockpit no one from the passenger cabin wearing an oxygen bottle would be able to get to the controls to recover the situation.
I think locks were invented 7 thousand years ago to address similar problems to this :).
Locks dont work on the pilot's mind, if he sees the flight attendant with a knife at her throat through the peep-hole in the door he's going to unlock and open it.
I think they already do this on a lot of commerical planes!
