I find it irritating when I'm having a conversation with someone who suddenly levitates out of a chair and runs out of the room to answer an incoming call. Why not have a "hold feature"? The incoming caller would receive a message like this: "Please hold for one moment. I'll be able to take your call shortly." That way you can receive important calls, but you have a moment to excuse yourself graciously.
