So far the World Calendar seems the best option:http://personal.ecu.edu/mccartyr/world-calendar.html I personally would also move January 1st to coincide with the vernal equinox. It just seems so odd to have the beginning of something (a new year) in the middle of a season that is the metaphorical equivalent of death. The advantages of this calendar make too much sense!

Or, you could simply begin the year just after the vernal equinox, like April 1.
If you were born on a weekday, you'd never get a chance to have a weekend birthday party. Not many people will take off work on a weekday to spend the day playing at your house.
