Working out can be boring. Why don't gyms rent out ipods with music? People can rent the ipods, get the music at a downloading station, and then workout. Retun the ipods when they're done.

Because of the legal issues of renting music, not to mention the logistics of dealing with the hardware.

I think it would be better to pipe in a multichannel music service, of course the trouble being piping that around the facility to the patrons.
