I just had to coment on this...American Gov has shown in this century that it has no discipine when it comes to conventions (pow etc.)There are no civilians anymore... do you understand that?No one is safe. Today, world is different than a year ago let alone a decade ago. It is changing from one day to another. And if I may add it is changing for the worst. The main reason for this I see in American powerhouses and rigid political system. It can not acomodate to the changing world the same way american coorporations cant compeat with foreign goods and services. They have all become to rigid and they resis change. This is sad but it is true. I think you all should go and see Moors next documentary, Ferenheit 9/11, If it is ever going to be shown in america. The land of the free censurs... thats what I call funny.As for your comment.. You need reality check.. sep. 11 was a tragedy, but such tragedies happen daily all araound the world and america is in most cases indirectly(directly) the cause of that suffering. Lets look at sudan and Africa in general, thousands of children, CHILDREN are dieing from hunger while americans are getting fatter and fatter. I am not saing that america is the main reason but the culture it propagates in the world and themessage that it sends to the world. The land of the brave, land of the free, prosperous. Brave? Raping men in prisons is brave? Free? Are you free from fear? you get pumpet with feear on every turn. Prosperous? Is there poverty inamerica? is race an issue? This disscustion could take a while, but the main point is that you are looking from your prospective. Try to look thrue other people perspective. You could read the Kuran and see what's all the fuss with muslims(what makes them tick) etc. To bring peace to the world it would meen understanding of other cultures and not judging them from our cultures views.

As long as patriotic 14 year olds aren't breaking any state or federal laws in their digital pursuit of those who wish America harm, more power to them.

Although on the surface this idea seems good, it might put these kids in grave danger. As well, it might expose them to sights not meant for kids' (let alone anyone's) eyes. I think this kind of work should be left for intelligence agencies.

....what...I'm a liberal, and that is one retarded reasoning. And no rational human being would say that, EVER, liberal or conservative. Here is a fact though: Americans spend more on fast food than on higher education. THAT is a fact that should be changed.

And here are some ground rules when you make assumptions about hackers:

1) A few are, but most hackers are not 14 year olds. The few that are, 90% of those are "script kiddies", kids who just use a pre-made hacker program without knowing what's going on underneath, and think they're "leet".2) Don't question their manhood. Do remember that they're the ones that make the choices, not you.3) Where is the target? News sources always say it's "some website", but you don't know, they don't, so you're expecting them to magically hack some unknown website where you don't know the name and that you assume is out there on the Internet, wherever it is?

It's been done...except the fact that a guy targeted Al-Jazeera, not the terrorists' websites. Please remember that Al-Jazeera have former BBC journalists, not crazy Muslim nuts they found on the street.

Hackers hack for different motivations. There have been relatively few hacks based on a political opinion compared to the total amount of hacks. They do it for the thrill of breaching security, not for patriotic reasons. Provide them a ripe target, and they WILL hack it.

It really isn't about censoring beheadings, this is a form of communication. By hacking into terrorist websites and shutting them down those "14 year olds" would be stopping potential terrorist attacks. No communication= no coordination.

Wow, I finally came back to see my post almost two years later. Generated quite the political discussion. Guess I should have put a little smiley face on it indicating that I was being facetious. ;-)
