Sunscreen Never Miss a Spot #2 | |||||||||||||||||
MGuertin suggested half this idea before at this location , for full disclosure. The problem with suntan lotion is that you don't know what spots you missed until it is too late. There must be some particles that you can sprinkle into the otherwise normal lotion that cannot be seen to the naked eye, but can be seen through a lens (polarized, UV filter of some sort, etc). The idea is to bundle special sunglasses with the lotion so that the user sees things that normal people don't. In this way, the suntan lotion people can copyright the system, and then Ray-Ban has to pay Coppertone the royalty to make shades with this feature. Increased profits for Coppertone, and their own line of sunglasses make a great product line extention for them. Even better is if you can tag the particles to something volatile so that they evaporate after the appropriate time limit-- and thus only the guy with the glasses knows when people need to reapply. Those shades would be a must-have for summer pool parties, especially if they made people look cool and sparkle-y.
