After recently attending a NASCAR race, I found it difficult to really see what's going on during the race unlike watching it on TV. What if you could create a small touch screen monitor which allows you to receive the broadcast signals from the drivers cars. You could select a car on the touch screen and then select a camera view in the car as they are on different frequencies. You could sell advertising on the screen and rent or sell the units to the fans. One drawback is power comsumption. How do you keep them charged?

You'd put such units in premium seats, and have them hardwired.

Check out what SBC Park is doing with Wi-Fi in San Francisco. Very much along these lines, but the fan just uses his/her own notebook, pda, etc. I think you'll see this kind of thing catch on quickly over the next 5 years.
