How about selling men's ties with woman's dresses? It would be very much like selling men's ties with men's shirts. This way you would always have a tie to match your date.

Great idea!!
Really, that's a cute idea. Have a collar on the top of the dress and then be able to wear any colored tie you want with it. Probably wouldn't work on longer dresses, but for an indie-looking jumper or shorter skirt, it would be cute.
As for "matching" ties, that starts to get into the realm of the creepy couple who always wears the matching set of reindeer sweater-vests at Christmas parties. Ties of contrasting color, however, would be cute. You wear a black collared dress with an orange tie, your boyfriend/husband wears a black or white collared shirt with a blue tie. That would be cute and avoid the creepy matching issue.
But good idea all-around!
Oh.... my.... god... please tell me you people do NOT dress in matching colours that is just too wierd.
