Now days, electronics are getting smaller, more efficient, and grown more numerous. Desks are getting filled with all types of chargers, cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players and so on. There is a way to make charging universal and wireless. It not only looks good, it also is very convenient.

To eliminate all those wires and chargers, I propose to attach a chip to the battery tuned to a charging base. The charging base provides wireless power to the battery. The chip will be RF inductively powered with electric coils and current regulating electronics, and the base will be constructed with many small planar coils that will switch on if there is a uncharged battery near it. The base provides power to the battery much like how electronic tooth brush gets power.

If these charging bases are found in hotels, and cars, you would be able to charge any device as long as it has the special battery. The chip could be made under $1, and the base could be made under $50.
