When I was attending a local university, I had to drive half an hour to get there. Many times my schedule had long two to three hour gaps between classes. I was also working, so I was often exhausted but driving back home for a nap wasn't practical. One day I thought, "I wish they had a room with cots where I could take an hour long nap. I'd pay anything for it." If someone with business connections and some capital rented a room in the student center and made something like that, I think they'd make a killing. I even came up with a name "Commuter Naps".

As an accomplished car-napper, I and my neck would love this.
A company called Metro Naps has set up a nap station in the Empire State Building. They rent sleeping pods in 20 minute increments; prices start at $14.00 for a daily pass. In Japan there are many places which rent coffin-like sleep slots by the hour.
As a college student many years ago I had this idea for times when a course hour was not scheduled. It is surprising that there are not sleeping stations set up in shopping centers where mothers could drop their kids while shopping or where shoppers could take a 15 minute nap during an intensive shopping spree.
