Color Graphing Calculators | |||||||||||||||||
Graphing Calculators such as the ones TI, HP and Casio make would be significantly easier to use if they had color screens. When plotting multiple functions, for instance, each function would automatically be given a different color. When editing equations, you would have things like syntax highlighting and color nesting indication. When editing programs, you would have syntax highlighting.

Im not sure about the syntax highlighting during program editing, however, HP, and i believe Casio do have color graphing calculators that seperate functions based on color when plotting. They also have a few games available for them in color.
Personally I am a die-hard TI fan (considering my high school required a TI 83+) and as far as I know, no color calculators exist in their product line.

A bw LCD screen uses only a fraction of the power of a color screen, especially since it needs no backlight. A color calc would have maybe 1/6 the battery life.
