Add some type of new idea alert/notification (possibly RSS). I believe some other similar sites offer this. My preference would be to receive an email daily of new ideas posted by category. And as long as I’m spending Why Not’s money, allow me to select email frequency, specific categories, key words, include/exclude idea description, etc.

FYI there is already a basic rss feed, just click the XML button. Not to detract from your other cool ideas.

I like the idea of email notification, too. Personally, I'd like an email every time someone posts a new idea.

Perhaps another solution would be to create a tool that would send emails every time a remote RSS feed was updated. I can see that having uses far beyond WN.

The XML does not appear to be working....I get "ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /rss/ on this server" when I click XML from either IE or FireFox....maybe it's something I've done to my computer???
