In the spirit of this idea and this idea, why not have a "Top Picks" metacatagory instead of a "Top Rated" one?

Instead of skimming off the top five all-time ideas, five out of the top one hundred could be randomly selected on each view.

It might already be here but I haven't seen it yet. A category with the top-rated contributers based on netting out the positive/negative votes. That way we could narrow down our search for interesting ideas when we only have a little time to spare.

It's currently called "Top Rated," and it only shows the top five from the whole site.

I've stopped looking at it, since it always has the same five...
