Lighted Locks | |||||||||||||||||
Maybe it is available somewhere (like lighted keypads), but I have yet to find a company that offers actualy door key locks that illuminate. I could see a lock that lights up internally for a minute or so when pressed in slightly. The concept could be applied to various other types of locks as well. Pad locks or combination locks used on shed doors or in any place that could be dark may be another application of this idea.

Alternatively, how about a little light in the key itself? You can press on the top of the key, which would illuminate the lock that you're pointing to.
They are called "key lights" and they have a small battery & LED. It fits over nearly any key.I've had one for years. I got mine where I purchase gasoline.
