Does anyone think the idea of a blimp for people to hold parties in is a decent thought? It obviously would take a lot of financial backing, but imagine all the people who would like to have an exclusive, in the air party? Anything from a club-style party to a nice cocktail party could be done. Float over the city, but come down in the same spot.

I am not sure of the lift capacity of the average blimp but it might limit the size of the party to a rather small group which might make it over costly.

The American Blimp Company (americanblimp.com)is pushing blimps for tourist use, particularly for ecotourism. They would like your idea. They would probably like it better if you have $100M to back it.

Maybe we could have corporate blimp races, where all the crew members are lawyers -- would that be a good start?

Actually, blimps to avoid gambling restrictions might be cool.
