I'm sick of having a wallet full of different cards and other pieces of plastic that get used in different places. Is it not possible for someone to offer a service to consolidate all your cards onto a universal one? Meaning you just carry the one and at the pay point or ATM you can select which account the money comes from?

PayPal has a debit card of sorts that (I think) you can pay for with any of the cards you give them access to. It's still pre-pay, though.

I only use one card, Visa. It is issued by my bank. I can review online along with my other accounts. I could easily transfer money to it from my checking or savings account if it were running low. I have not found anyone who takes credit cards and refuses my Visa. If I did, I would not bother to do business with them.

So let me put in bluntly: The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our credit cards, but in ourselves.
