Country Club Smart Car | |||||||||||||||||
The Smart Car of Europe is finally making its way to the US. So let's combine it with the snap-on doors and windows of the Jeep Wrangler and make it a combo golf cart. In standard mode, the car drives on the highways at regular speeds. When you get to the golf course, pull off the windows and doors, switch into low-speed mode, and hit the links. It solves none of the world's problems, but would be cool.

Yeah, and let's make them all electric, too. Why golfcourses, which pollute our watersystems with pesticides don't at least switch their entire fleets from gas-chugging golfcarts to an electric version is beyond me. Tack on $1 to the green fees at your local course and that could pay for the conversion at your club. The carts have to be replaced in time, anyway - go electric.
