In our office we have multiple Hot & Cold Water Bottle Dispensers, the big water bottle on top. Here is an example http://www.oasiswatercoolers.com/
The hot tap is fine, hot water comes out as ready. But the cold tap is not. If no one has taken any cold water recently, you will get a great cup of cold water, if someone just filled up and left before you arrived, you get a room temperature cup of slop.
Why not put some sort of temperature gauge indicating how cold the water coming out will be ? Even a simple light gauge would let you know if the holding tank is slighly charged cold, medium cold or full power cold.
Would save me from getting lukewarm water and pouring it down the drain. (or maybe they want that as they sell us the water?)
