Card Sending Service | |||||||||||||||||
Even with the reminders I set for myself, I either forget or I'm late in sending cards to people on special occasions. I've thought about starting a business (likely web based) to help people like myself. Customers would join the service by entering the names and birth dates of loved ones. They would also elect to "pre-select their cards" or have the service choose cards for them. Ten days before the upcoming birthday, a card would be mailed to the customer, along with a stamped envelope. Once the customer receives their card, they simply sign it, write a note, address it, and mail it. The business could also handle other types of cards such as anniversaries and so forth. The customer would have their credit card on file, and would be charged an annual "package" fee or a per card fee (say $5 each). I would never miss sending my niece or sister another card. Do you think you would use a service like this? How about the business name "UnBelated!"?

Great idea. I think Hallmark does this (as it helps them sell more cards). What about doing this with voicemail--so you can send yourself a voice message reminder.
Love the idea. Easy enough to put together. I may start examining Europe.
loads of people already do this, it's baked. Try GOOGLE
