You may have heard about the Ephesians. Mentioned in the Christian Bible. They were the inhabitants of a place called Ephesus, founded in Ancient Greece times. Existing prior to Christianity, they devoted themselves to worshipping the pantheon they knew. They were particular devotees of Artemis, goddess of the hunt and other earthly things. Built a huge temple that got listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. No longer exists today, except as ruins. However, apparently they managed to preserve the main statue that depicts their envisioning of Artemis. It was buried and stayed hidden until modern archaeoligists found it.Here.The image does not show the size of this statue well. It is at least somewhat larger than human-sized. She appears to be well-equipped to mother the world.
Next, In South America there grows the cocoa tree. Source of chocolate. Being a tropical plant, it does not need to worry about focussing its reproductive efforts into a short growing season. It is always in flower (hundreds), and it is always growing seed pods (dozens) at various stages of development. The scientific name of this plant is "Theobroma Cacao", and translates as "food of the gods". Here (scroll down the page to see the picture).

And your point is . . . ?
Why, it's just an interesting and perhaps entertaining coincidence. Or...just barely maybe...some sort of connection may have existed such that the sculptors of Artemis knew about the cocoa tree. :)
Great, an armchair philosopher. Problem is, this site is about inventions, not conspiracies.
What are you talking about? Do you think the statue's numerous mammaries look like cocoa pods? The similarity is underwhelming. Actually, the statue's chest looks more like a bunch of grapes to me.
