A shirt that will change color and stay that way for the rest of the way. I will then have to buy one shirt and use it on two different days (ofcourse I will wash it in between) with two different pants.

Interesting. How do you do it?

sand, Mar 23 2005

One way would be a cloth which has mesh of fibres running through it. Feeding different levels of electric current to those fibres in the morning would make them change the color of the entire shirt to, say black. Next day, when the different amount of electric current is applied, it changes to different color, as if the shirt has memory.

I had never heard about electricity causing a color change. Do you have any references?

sand, Mar 24 2005

The electricity itself doesn't, it heats the colour elements, which change colour with heat.
