Poop-B-Gone | |||||||||||||||||
Why not have a spray or powder to breakdown dog feces in public places? This would eliminate people from carrying bags to pickup behind their pets!

Great idea. I actually was wondering if such a product existed already for my backyard!
Perhaps it would work for dog runs or back yards or places where people are expecting a certain level of feces -- but otherwise I'm not so sure it could work fast enough to be useful. Public open places where people are running around playing frisbee, or just plopping down to enjoy the sun, should be completely free of feces, half-way decomposed or otherwise. Just my two cents.
Wasn't this the basis for a recent flop movie?Honestly, if it worked well our entire sanitation system could be revolutionized.
I appreciate the sentiment, but it is not practical. Even if this worked immediately you would have the problem of how often to apply to keep up with constant new supply ... unless we could train all dogs to defecate at the same time each day.
Oh great! More chemicals in the environment! If you can't take responsibility for cleaning up after your dog, you don't deserve to have one.
I like the idea of some sort of natural, biodegradable spray to do this job. However, I expect dog owners too lazy or inconsiderate not to pick up dog poop, would not bother to use Poop-B-Gone either. Also, how fast would this work? If it was to work immediately in dissolving the poop, it would have to be very strong stuff. Would it be safe?
Would the Poop B Gone if it got very hot very fast?Or would it turn into something worse than poop?I don't have a dog to make the poop for this experiment.
