Why not create an e-book reader (Not a heavy/light laptop), very thin display which I can hold like a book, very light. No battery, just works by power from a converter from the wall. The wall outlet has the hard disk to store books, the CPU and the WiFi link to download the e-book. It comes with a stylus to navigate and even allows me to write notes on the book.

I should be able to use it when reading in the bed. My kid can take it to school, instead of 30lb back pack, and be able to access all his books.
