Many times when I go to new restaurants, I stick what I think will be OK e.g. something with baked vegetables only. How about restaurants providing menu with real food samples to taste? That way I will be more tempted to try out different foods, and may even order more than what I want.

Since I would be able to taste more than one product, I might decide to customize my food by mixing two different items, and I will be willing to pay more.

The feedback will be more accurate as well, since it will not be based on what is left in the plate and will be based on what was tasted and not ordered.

There's something to this. I don't see this as an everyday possibility, they just couldn't do their food justice. I would like to see restaurants promote a night (probably their slowest) that would have a sample of every menu option. This would draw a crowd on normally slow nights and allow the chef to prepare properly.
