I want to find quick, easy and accurate film listings without having to find the right printed newspaper. Recorded phone-in listings' menus take forever. Phone display services are worse. Most websites are just as bad. They're hard to navigate, and take forever to load. I just tried one again and found the whole page reset and froze when I tried to select one drop-down item in a list of search criteria.

The only close ones I've found are the weekly arts paper listing in their online sites in Toronto (www.nowtoronto.com and www.eye.net), which actually list all playing titles, and you can click on them to find theatres and showtimes, and reviews quickly. However, a couple of years ago, when I found shows that weren't on when listed somewhere, theatre managers have told me they only send info. to "selected" papers, and the rest find info. by other means. Though errors are (I believe) rare in the weeklies, this is crappy marketing and bad customer treatment by theatres.

I'm hoping people will post good electronic listings that I haven't found yet, especially ones accessible by phone when I'm out and wanting to catch a flick.
