Have just read about our World’s melting mountains and other harmful Ecology happenings. I live in an Andean country where the same problem is occurring, have lived here for quite a while, and am experiencing this happening first hand.

One main problem of our melting Glaciers, is the increasing lack of fresh drinkable water, which is obtained from Wells, Springs and Rivers, it will soon be a serious matter, as the rainy seasons are becoming more sporadic, hence inviting drought periods to start introducing themselves.

Although this could be alarming, there is no reason to panic, as there is more than enough water available in our atmosphere, Mist, Fog http://www.fogquest.org/index.shtml and Condensation http://www.opur.ubordeaux.fr/ and Oceans, the first two, can be “harvested” by simply erecting Fog Collectors, specially for countries like ours, which could benefit from such a Program, as this phenomena is available nearly nine months of the year along our coast-line!

Our NGO http://www.askitsdone.co.uk/~angocho/editedpage will soon be celebrating its 10th. Anniversary this year, where we can frustratingly admit, we have done absolutely nothing so far, due to World Wide Doubts on the managing of most NGO funds and other reasons. The financing of such projects could be very simple, any individual or Organization who would like to cooperate financially, and has his/her doubts regarding financing a particular Ecology Program, should come over in person, in order to personally distribute the money according to the nesecities of the Project. I personally would agree to such an arrangement, by no means being ofended, as world-wide distrust these days is very understandable, coming over in person, would be great, even for the donor, as he / she could even take part!

Obtaining Water via the ideas mentioned, is not something new (hence not an idea of mine) but the way the money should be handled IS. The interested person and / or Representative, could come over on say a 30, 60 or 90 day Visa, and enjoy a holiday at the same time!

As a summary, just imagine what could be done water-wise (Irrigations, Drinking Water, Desalination of Sea Water etc.) if all the world countries involved at present in childish wars and revolutions, said, enough is enough, all the money we still have, together with the sale of war armament will be put to good Ecology use, all our world's Deserts would green up in next to no time, we would have Amazons all over the world, plus a surplus of money, dreaming? Not really, besides, just think how many enemies would become instant friends, and the amount of food produced world-wide! Anthony.
