Whenever I watched TV and saw an AD for something I liked (like the Kintzu Knife), I never had enough time to write down the contact information. The AD simply went by so quickly. Other times (or excuses), I was just in a very comfortable position that I did not want to move.

Here is a solution: Why not include a digital voice recorder on the remote control so that I can simply speak into the remote control for the things I need to remember. All it takes is a solid-state memory that can record 5 or 10 seconds of recording. There is no moving parts and the memory can be used repeatedly. Chances are, no matter how many difference positions I am taking, the remote control is always near me.

I wonder if there is already be a patent on it, but no company is making anything like it.

You could try taping a notepad and pen to the bottom of the remote?

Since you got internet you can simply search the product you want or even go to the shops. Adverts are fast because they are epensive to air.
