Similar to my post "Directions on Windshields" in the Car area, superimpose images, lines, or shading onto the inside of a pair of glasses. The glasses are linked to a cellphone or some other such input device. 1) After inputting an address, and receiving the appropriate data, the glasses superimpose a green line on the ground indicating which direction to walk; 2) After inputting a type of shop, restaurant, etc., the glasses superimpose shading (or some other noticeable markings) to all buildings of that type in the immediate area; 3) the current time, temperature or other variables could be shown at the press of a button on the glasses, or as an option, always; 4) add your feature here. Again, technologies required: GPS, mapping software, head-tracking, tiny superimposing technology (what could this be?)

Actually, I just read somewhere that an English student has incorporated a timer device into the direct visual field of swim goggles. It's a lightweight application.

While I think most people wouldn't mind this technology, it would have to be extremely lightweight (James Bondish). There's currently a pair of Oakleys called Thump that has an MP3 player incorporated. I can't say I'm impressed with it because it's so damn big. On top of which, it's only offered in one style.

I believe also that this type of information was conceived for the cell phone's coming of age. Essentially, the GPS on your phone could lead you to nearby places, offer up coupons for local spots, pay, etc.
