The al-Aqsa Intifada is the wave of violence and political conflict that began in September 2000 between Palestinian Arabs and Israelis; it is also called the Second Intifada (see also First Intifada).

Open Source Peace is grassroots discussion for a peace proposal that will lead to a sustainable peace resolution.

Seven peace proposals have been discussed since the wave of violence began in September 2000 between Palestinians and Israelis. Two of the proposals were suggested by NGOs and aimed as a "popular agreement" but were based on hierarchy.
