Well, I know it isn't exactly healthy to smoke, but as long as they're going to do it, they should get a little exercise while they're at it. I'm envisioning some sort of rod-in-tube that would be held in one hand, squeezed vigorously and repeatedly, forcing the rod in to compress the air at one end, making the end of the rod hot enough to light a cigarette.
