WhyNot has similar goals to the Wiki Forum idea, which is being developed at http://forum.for-pgh.org/wiki/index.php?title=Forum_Entrance

A Wiki could add a lot to the discussions here, and Wiki communities has already addressed a lot of the problems that are arising here (corrections, moderation, organization, etc). For example, see Wikipedia.

I think that they WhyNot system would work best as a set of tools that are added to a traditional Wiki system.
