Stake for large potted plants | |||||||||||||||||
Some house plants need to be staked up to avoid falling over, but the dirt in the pot isn't deep enough to anchor a plant stake. How about a stake that is firmly attached to a flat plate at a 90 degree angle. The plate goes on the bottom of the pot inside, the dirt is put on top, the stake stays vertical and is stable enough to hold up a heavy plant.

how about a stake built into the pot it's self
Since I have many large houseplants & some need staking, I understand the problem. What I found works nicely is to use 2 stakes instead. Bamboo stakes, of whatever thickness needed, are placed on opposite sides of the plant pot (like at 12 o'clock & 6 o'clock) right against the inside edges. If they're pushed to the bottom of the pot, the plant can be firmly staked without pulling or leaning over as it does when just using one stake. Each stake has equal force against it & the plant stays upright.
Maybe this will help until you find what you need. I prefer my own simple solutions as it means I'm not paying more for an extra in someone else's product.
