Dog brush with built in vacuum | |||||||||||||||||
The only thing worse than brushing my dog is the large garbage bag I keep handy for all the hair. A dog brush with a build in vacuum would solve the problem of hair disposal. It could also revive the much loved "Floobe"- if you can use a vacume to cut hair why not to dispose of dof hair?

I think it was a "flowbee." I am right with you. But it doesn't have to be a vacuum. It could also be like a crumb collector used on tables. The brush could rotate and deposit the hair into a receptacle on the other side.
one word: Shave!
I think this invention was on Waynes World. The Suc & vac!?
Teach your dog to brush it's own hair or do it outside. Spend the money that you would have spent on the silly gadget and but yourself something nice.
I came up with this idea myself several years ago. Was just checking patents today and looking online to see if anyone else has done it yet. Great minds think alike, lmd001! Don't you dare patent it though...I'll be pissed!
This would work for some dogs. Many dogs, though, would freak the hell out.
I actually saw a pet brush attachment for a vacuum the other day! When I brush my dog, I just keep the central vac hose beside me and put the hair directly into it. My dog also lets me run the vacuum over her... she's a pretty calm dog though!
