We have magnets that are very powerful and some that are really weak, why not create something to help with storage and with the way your room is set up. A bed controlled by repeling magnets set within a specific area that could float above the room by a little bit or down lower depending on how strong you set everything to, the molecules could be used to change how strong the magnet is and if we could come up with the device used to moniter and change the strength (which I think we might have already) then it is rather possible. It could be used for storage or bunkbeds, just think moms never having to bed down under your kids bed to clean up the mess they shoved in their, and you could get a vacume their easy.

Magnets powerful enough to repel the weight of a bed plus, possibly, an occupant, might repel an electromagnet on the base oriented to do so, but would also have a violent attractive capability on any ferromagnetic substance in the vicinity. The scene upon turning on the magnet would rival those in the film "Poltergeist"

good idea but it could reperl everything in the room or even the wall.

Awesome idea... now this is what I love... wayyyyy outside of the box! But what happens when the power goes out, and the electromagnetic force disappears in the middle of the night, or whatever other source you're using for your magnet becomes unreliable. Cool idea, but there are so many technicalities that make it kind of difficult to turn to reality.
