Cell phone | |||||||||||||||||
Although the infernal nuisance of telemarketing motivates many cell phone users to keep their numbers private it is inconvenient for businesses not to be listed somewhere convenient on cell phones. If a general reference for business cell phones were available through cell phones so that a user could locate businesses within a convenient area it might be useful for people seeking products at reasonable prices within easy transportation distances.

Or, you could have your cell phone number printed on your business card and/or company letterhead, and exchange business cards with people with whom you do business, thus building up a personal rolodex of business cards. Expanding from this, one could arrange a network of card-sharing businesses within a certain physical area.
I think if a company or individual really wants to attract my business, they'll make their cell phone number available to me in their correspondance or in their advertising.
