How about attaching a meter to your outgoing water line for auto. sprinklers that feeds liquid fertilizer into your lawn. Seems simple enough if a safe fertilizer could be developed and it wouldnt be difficult for the sprinkler control system to control that as well. Maybe Its already been made, let me know.
