Meeting Mode = Silent Phones | |||||||||||||||||
Create a meeting room "mode" for cell phones, to prevent the "ring tones" from interrupting a meeting, a class, or seminar. The speaker's podium or control panel would have a "meeting mode" button. When pushed, all cell phones in the room would be converted to a silent or vibrate mode. This would prevent those annoying rings/jingles during meetings/classes, yet still allow calls to come through. This would allow the phone owner to still receive what could be an urgent call, but prevent the disruption.

Most cell phone nowadays have a "meeting" mode. some have blutetooth, which could be used to send a meeting command The olny missing link would be software, and the means to stop a scammer from needlessly quieting a phone. Otside of BT, have the phones have a universal receiver circuit, to receive commands like that.
