Until my son was nine months old, I needed three hands to feed him a bottle of milk. That’s when he started holding the bottle himself. As a dutiful father, I fed him on my lap, holding his head upright with one hand, feeding him a bottle with my other hand, and wiping up his dribbles and leaks with my third hand. See the problem? I tried wadding up a towel under his chin, but it would either get soaked or be grabbed away by the baby, leaving me to deal with a stream of dribble on my arm, lap, and chair.
You would think that with all the nursing pillows out there, that this problem would already have been solved. They all require three hands. While the Boppy and Mother’s Breast Friend pillows can be good for nursing, Leachco’s Nurse Prop’R comes the closest to freeing up a hand, but falls short because it still requires you to hold your third arm under the pillow.
I propose a baby nursing lounger as a solution. Made from a medium-soft foam, this pillow would fit on your lap and hold the baby at a fixed feeding angle which allows you to free up your third arm. The foam would have a washable, waterproof cover with a pocket for the required assortment of bottles, wipes, towels, binky’s, toys, and moisturizers.

I agree. Why make only the Pillow? Why not make a formed mattress which holds the baby even from rolling over too?
