Why not have sugar come in sheets like the new breath strips? Instead of having loose packets opening in your purse, you could have a neat dispenser.

Sheet form is clearly the next step in food additive evolution. The same thing could probably be done with non-dairy creamer.
I like this! Very convenient & compact.
If these sugar sheets were quick disolving, i would think they would be brittle too.
The larger the surface area of a substance to be dissolved may be the faster it will go into solution. Powdered and granulated sugar have the largest surface area so dissolve the quickest. Lately cafeterias have resorted to paper tubes of granulated sugar instead of cubes. They work much better.
