Thousands of people each year are killed or injured in car accidents. In many accidents, two cars or more are involved in collisions that bring the cars together. If only a warning could alert the drivers to an impending crash. Why couldn't the car manufacturers add an inexpensive computer router to put in each car. Each car would then be sending out a signal to the other cars in the immediate vicinity. If any router received a signal that was too strong, meaning a car or object was getting too close, an alert would sound to all cars in the immediate area that a crash was about to happen. The alert would create an opportunity for the accident to be avoided.

And in the event that the collision is unavoidable, a small pager system could immediately alert personal injury lawyers who would pay a fee to be notified of hot prospects.

your idea sounds good but what would happen if a nervous type panicked when they heard the alert and actually caused a collision? who would be legally responsible for the damage in this case?
