Digital cable television allows viewers to record and purchase regular programs, movies and sports venues. Why not offer the ability to order pizza for delivery from the TV screen as well? One would make the crust, topping and size choices with the interactive remote, viewing the final pizza selection before purchase. The cost would be billed to a credit card on file, or through the digital cable company. It would be delivered to the address from which it was ordered.

Mostly infrastructure and application development.

TiVos have a feature which would be better suited to such an endeavour, in that it allows the use of a TiVo to use an Interactive third party page. Right now I think you can manage Ebay deals on it. Ordering pizzas wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
