Eliminates the need to have both an overhead projector and a laptop computer

Projector is conveniently built in to the base of the laptop computer

Adjustable arm (with light bulb) extends from the base of the laptop to project onto the wall in front of the PC

Allows PC user to project images/ software applications at a moment’s notice

Eliminates the need to reserve a projector for presentations and carry it from location to location

Since it would be a niche item, not many would be made, and would therefore limit the variety of features it would have. IMO, just get a cheap projector (<1G), and a laptop that otherwise has the features you want.

What about a laptop without a screen, using only a bright projector? It could have a small projector screen integrated, and would save on the LCD, which can be expensive.

C2H60 - Nice idea, but if I was working out of the office, everyone could read my stuff.

Since most people using a laptop compatible projector do need a laptop, could a simple windows system not be built into the projector with basic programmes and a USB port or three?

Don't many of th eplaces you would need a projector, have the projector anyway?

Niche market. Maybe corporations that have dedicated audio/visual personnel would like it. The problem is that if one component fails beyond worth to repair, you lose two pieces of equipment.
